What Agents Are + Get Your Hands Dirty

Understand the difference between chatbots and agents. Install your first coding agent. See it do real work.

Teaching Hour
  • Chatbot vs Agent — the lightbulb moment. Live demo: same task given to a chatbot vs an agent
  • The Agent Formula: Model + Tools + Environment = Agent
  • The Landscape — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude Code, Codex CLI, Manus, OpenClaw, Operator
  • Your First Install — guided setup of a coding agent
  • Deterministic vs Probabilistic — setting expectations, learning to verify, building trust
Practice Hour
  • Finish setup and troubleshoot installs (group support)
  • First real task: have the agent scaffold a project, write a script, or analyze a file
  • Try 2–3 prompts of your own — experiment
  • Group share: what worked? what surprised you?
Homework

Use the agent for one real task before next session. Write down what you asked, what it did, and what you'd improve.

02

Tools of the Trade + Daily Workflows

Learn which tool to use when. Build your first reusable daily workflow.

Teaching Hour
  • Decision Framework — quick questions → chat agents, code → coding agents, multi-step → personal agents, on-the-go → mobile
  • Role-Specific Examples — sales, operations, marketing, finance, any role
  • Mobile Workflows — voice mode, camera input, on-the-go usage
  • Personal Agents Deep Dive — Manus, OpenClaw, trust spectrum
  • The CRAFT Framework — Context, Role, Action, Format, Tone
Practice Hour
  • Same task across 3 different tools — compare results
  • Build your first reusable workflow for a daily task
  • Mobile exercise: quick task on your phone
  • Group share: best workflow so far
Homework

Identify 3 repetitive tasks in your work life an agent could handle. Try the CRAFT framework on at least one. Come to Session 3 with: "The thing I wish I could automate."

03

Automation, Scheduling & Memory

Build agents that work while you sleep. Email triage, scheduled reports, persistent memory.

Teaching Hour
  • Scheduled Agents — the "6am workflow": email triage, daily brief, drafted responses
  • Connecting to Real Tools — Gmail, Calendar, Slack, Notion, spreadsheets, APIs
  • Parallelization — why do one thing when you can do five?
  • Memory — conversation vs. persistent vs. project memory. How to structure what agents remember.
Practice Hour
  • Design an automation: Trigger → Agent → Tools → Output
  • Build a working scheduled or automated workflow
  • Set up a memory structure for an ongoing project
  • Group share: coolest automation idea
Homework

Run your automation for a few days. Note what it handled well, what broke, and what needs guardrails. Think about: what business function would you hand off to an agent?

04

Deploy Agents for Your Business

Set up always-on agents via OpenClaw & Manus. Connect to WhatsApp or Telegram. Hand off real business functions.

Teaching Hour
  • The Shift — from tool you use → agent that runs. "Hire an AI employee."
  • OpenClaw & Manus — setup, configuration, connecting to Telegram & WhatsApp. Live demos.
  • Business Functions — customer support, sales research, ops triage, personal assistant, content, research
  • The Leash Concept — start tight (propose → approve), extend gradually, know what to never automate
Practice Hour
  • Set up your own agent on OpenClaw or Manus
  • Connect to Telegram or WhatsApp — send it tasks, iterate
  • Pair exercise: partner tests your agent, tries to break it
  • Group share: what business function did you deploy?
Homework

Let your agent run for a few days on a low-risk business function. Track: tasks handled, quality, failures, escalations. Come to Session 5 with: "Here's what my agent did this week."

05

Evaluate, Improve & Build Your 10x Plan

Checker patterns, self-improvement loops, skills, and your personal 10x productivity roadmap.

Teaching Hour
  • Review — how did your deployed agents perform this week?
  • Checker Patterns — Agent A drafts, Agent B reviews for accuracy and policy compliance
  • Skills — teaching agents reusable procedures, acquiring skills, using agents to build tools
  • The 10x Framework — personal life, side hustle, main job. The "unfair advantage."
  • What's Next — agent teams, multi-agent patterns, staying current
Practice Hour
  • Build your "killer workflow" — the one thing that saves you the most time
  • Add a checker step to catch mistakes
  • Present to the group: your killer workflow + what you'll use it for
  • Final Q&A and troubleshooting
Take-Home Package

Your personal agent toolkit (tools installed, agents deployed), 5+ working workflows, Agent Playbook PDFs, private community access, and a clear plan for what to automate next.
